Desk Report: The Ministry of Commerce is planning a National Chemical Management Rules for the textile and garments industry of Bangladesh. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the Federal government of the Federal Republic of Germany is aiding Ministry of Commerce to create this guideline. A broader session session was arranged by the Ministry of Commerce on 2 January 2022 to share the draft recommendations with the stakeholders and gather their tips on the draft pointers. The guideline will give textile and garment factories assistance to source efficient management of substances in a way that is safe for the men and women working in the factories and at the identical time atmosphere pleasant.

Representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Ecosystem, Forest and Local weather Transform, Ministry of Industries, and Ministry of Labour and Employment took section in the dialogue.
