EMC Tests (EMC = Electro Magnetic Compatibility)

The test fabrics are tested in an EMC hall according to international standards (MIL-STD 285, NSA 65-6 and recently also IEEE STD 299:1997). The picture on the left shows the window with the transmitting antenna on the outside of the hall and the receiving antenna within the hall. The first measurement (calibration) is carried out without the test fabric. In the picture on the right you can see the test fabric covering the window. Now the tests in the different frequency ranges are conducted.

EMC-Demonstrator

By inserting an electro-smog fabric between the aerial and receiver, the protective effect becomes visible for the customer.
