Engineers from Government Textiles Engineering colleges came forth jointly for attaining higher achievements in direction of industry enhancement by establishing a new corporation named Association of Textile Engineers, Bangladesh (ATEB). In fact, ATEB begun its journey in 2017 prior devoid of any formal formation. On 26th February they organized a Normal Meeting with the title “InUnity” and formally declared their motion towards unity and achievement.
Alumni Affiliation of 4 Governments Textiles Engineering schools namely, Textile Engineering Higher education Noakhali, Noakhali (TECN), Pabna Textile Engineering University, Pabna (PTEC), Chittagong Textile Engineering School, Chittagong (CTEC), Shahid Abdur Rab Serniabat Textile Engineering Faculty, Barishal (SARSTEC) took this original phase of arranging such system for ensuring greater communication between graduates from these schools. On this common assembly, operating students from a different 2 new proven Government’s Textile Engineering Schools Particularly Sheikh Kamal Textile Engineering College or university, Jhenaidah (SKTEC), Dr. Wazed Miah Textile Engineering College, Rangpur (DWMTEC) also participated in this common meeting.
ATEB arrived together for making sure the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and Institute of Textile Engineers and Technologists (ITET) accreditation for all Governing administration Textile Engineering Colleges. They are also elevating their voice for Industry-Academia Collaboration and bringing Unity to all Govt. textile engineering schools in a person widespread System.
On this working day of the typical meeting, the ATEB chosen Zohir Uddin Mohammad Babor (1st batch- SARSTEC) as Main Coordinator and Md. Emdad (1st batch, CTEC), Saidul Karim Riaz (1st batch, TECN), & Shadat Mintu (2nd batch, PTEC) as Campus Coordinator. This staff will initially choose the needed phase for further activities. A whole board of committees will be declared soon for the easy procedure of the ATEB.
Zohir Uddin Mohammad Babor (1st batch- SARSTEC), recently nominated Main coordinator of ATEB Implementation Committee claimed, “All the Authorities Textile Engineering faculties were doing work alongside one another for the final few of decades. Finally, this platform grew to become additional solid with the energetic participation of all Graduated Engineers from these Colleges who are performing fantastic and supporting our Textile and clothing market.
