Sustainability is just one of the core places of problem for Bangladesh’s RMG business which is building all-out efforts to expand and assure environmental sustainability at the same time, claimed Faruque Hassan, President of BGMEA.
“We have 148 LEED Eco-friendly factories qualified by the US Inexperienced Making Council (USGBC), of which 44 are Platinum rated and 91 are Gold rated. Also, 40 out of top 100 environmentally friendly factories of the globe belong to Bangladesh though 500 a lot more are in the method of finding certification. The webinar aimed to enhance the recognition of Danish specialized answers for Eco-friendly Creating and Industrial Processes in Bangladesh. The issues of sustainable buildings, green creating certification and inexperienced finance had been talked about in the webinar.
Ambassador of Denmark to Bangladesh H. E. Winnie Estrup Petersen gave the welcome remark at the program.
